How to prepare for a memorable road-trip




Road trips with family are fun ways to travel and spend some quality time. You may be a busy person. You may not find time for family for fun activities. If you are this person, you can plan a road trip to leave the busy life for a bit. While bikes are perfect for a road trip with friends. A family trip deserves a comfy car, especially in these times when public transport and even air travel is not considered the safest option. 


But what if you don't have a car? The answer is leasing a car. There are a lot of car leasing companies in India and it's the perfect alternative to buying a car.


Before going on a road trip you will have to make several preparations. Here's a quick checklist.

  • If you are going on a long road trip then first schedule an appointment with your car mechanic. Get your tires, wiper blades, headlights checked, and make sure the Stepney tools are handy in case of breakdowns.

  • If you are traveling with kids, get to know the place well before you go there. Share your research with them. This will keep them excited and happy during the journey. Share a few stories and prepare them for more learning when they get there. 

  • Fill a backpack with game kits, books, snacks, some light sports equipment (like a football or badminton racquets). Let the kids do some of the packing.

  • If you are going to or from cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad, or planning your road trip from these locations, you can search for car leasing companies in Mumbai, car lease in Bangalore, vehicle leasing in Chennai etc. to take a car on a lease.

  • Stop at some places which are popular tourist spots in between before reaching your destination. It can be a waterpark, garden, picnic spot, park, waterfall, etc.

  • Look up the hotel/stay and the best route to it before you get there. Whether you are staying with your relatives, renting a house, or checking in a hotel. By doing that, you will know more about how to pack the car efficiently. Get in touch with the hotel authorities where you will be staying, to know about the amenities and facilities they will provide. (For example: Know the size of the beds so you can bring the right size of bedsheets from home)


These are some things which you can keep in mind when you are planning for your trip with your family. the list is endless, and you can still run into some surprises. But that's how memories are made.
